The Beautiful reddish varnish helps create an instrument that is both aesthetically pleasing and sounds good. The violin features a moderately flamed 2 piece back and even grained spruce top. The workmanship is solid and well arched giving it a clear and robust sound. This violin would be great for an advancing player who wants a violin made in the USA.
