If you are a folk music aficionado, this instrument is your best bet. The D1210 features a laminated spruce top, which offers an optimum fundamental-to-overtone ratio. As a result, you obtain a wide dynamic response along with rich, complex, meaty tones. The maple neck produces transparent tones. Maple is resistant to environmental changes and is thus a widely preferred tonewood variety. This instrument can be tuned to D-a-d’-d’. The dulcimer is accompanied by a bag for easy portability.
