The MXR Noise Clamp guitar pedal eliminates hiss and excessive noise from your effects chain with a single threshold trigger knob. This allows you to maintain the definition of your riffs even at extreme gain levels.
How does it know?
By sensing your guitar’s dry signal, the MXR Noise Clamp pedal reduces the noise level within the effect loop, clamping down hard on even the noisiest signals. A single Trigger knob lets you set the volume threshold at which the pedal is active, and a green LED shows whether the gate is on/off. This MXR pedal can reduce noise up to 26dB, – that’s huge – maintaining definition at extreme gain levels.
The Noise Clamp MXR pedal can be powered by a 9-volt battery, a Dunlop ECB003 9-volt adapter, or the DC Brick, Iso-Brick, and Mini Iso-Brick power supplies (not included).
