This album presents a selection of shorter pieces by the composer in versions for violin and piano. Included are hits such as:
- Russian Rag
- Slicked Back Tango
- Naive Waltz or Peggy’s Minute Rag
Many of which were written for Kats-Chernins friends.
Players and listeners immerse themselves in the typical sound world of the Australian composer, sometimes melancholic, sometimes ironic, sometimes biting, sometimes full of drive, always directly accessible.
