The Tune-o-matic has been a standard for countless Gibson models for more than 60 years. Designed by legendary Gibson president Ted McCarty in 1954, the Tune-o-matic set the standard for simplicity and functionality.
The Nashville Tune-o-matic offers un-notched saddles with individual saddle screw retainer clips, and a wider footing for greater intonation range. The stud and thumbwheel also are cast directly to the bridge, allowing it to slide directly into place.
