DW Bass Drum Pedal Beaters: Control XL Beater
The Control XL Beater, created in partnership with studio expert John ‘J.R.’ Robinson, is a modification of the original Control Beater model featured on high-end DW Manufacturing pedals. Its flexible design allows drummers to easily adjust the weight and playing surface of the beater for optimal performance. With a longer 8.15 inch shaft and oversized wood or felt beater faces, this beater offers maximum volume and attack, with a total weight of 120g when loaded with 4 weights. Each weight is 10g and the empty beater weight is 80g.
