Description
A little Sonatina for strings, this bright, folk-style dance is fun to play for all. Various strokes, including lifted articulations, provide technical challenges and teaching points. Keith Sharp’s desire to involve all players is shown in the integration and sharing of melody, harmony, and accompanying roles. The piano part may be helpful in rehearsal and/or performance, though it is not essential to the arrangement. Bandicoot Scoot is a classic Music House title and one of Keith Sharp’s first educational string compositions.
