This light display isn’t caused by solar winds but rather ribbons of very bright LEDs around the perimeter of the violin body, for which a phone app gives you control over dazzling displays. An outer frame made from high quality cast acrylic plates diffuses the light so your violin shape glows brightly. Aurora’s proprietary twin-piezo pickup system provides a pleasing amplified tone that is warm and rich.

Lights
The onboard LEDs are controlled with the included RGB remote controller, or via Bluetooth connection to a phone or tablet with the free HappyLighting app, which has the following functions:
- Change the RGB LED color using a color wheel and adjust LED brightness
- Recall the 7 standard RGB colors (red, yellow, green, cyan, blu, magenta, white) or custom preset colors of your choosing with a tap
- Change LED color responsively to your playing using your device’s microphone
