A castle sits hulking in the distance, shrouded in mist… A rhythmic sounding music is coming from within its walls. What might be taking place – a royal procession, a fair, or perhaps courtly dancing?
Young players will enjoy this medieval sounding piece enhanced by the (optional) tambourine part. Much of the piece is homophonic in texture, but a lyrical middle section provides a suitable contrast in timbre. Ideal for reinforcing notes on the ‘G’ string!
