Description
1988 Vintage Flat Box RAT2 made by the illusive Dan D (this is the first RAT we’ve seen built by Dan D which is pretty cool!). Glow in the dark graphics, OG knobs and flat box enclosure – this is identical circuit to the 1988 ‘Black Face’ & ‘White Face’ RATs & indeed has the highly coveted LM308 chip. This one sounds great as an overdrive – starting very open-like and getting into Fuzz territory when cranked. An above average-sounding RAT.
Strangely enough, this unit has one of the builder’s fingerprints on the battery compartment casing. Maybe it belongs to Woodcutter?
Classic hard clipping distortion box with Distortion, Filter, and Volume controls. Flatbox model. Made in the USA.
Missing rubber feet but pedalboard-ready with velcro attached.
